Navy Jax Yacht Club Poker Run 2011 August 13th
Rules.
1. Anyone can participate, you don’t have to be a club member and no age restrictions. 2.
Each player may play as many hands as they like at $10.00 per hand. Each hand consist of Five Cards (5).
These cards are to be picked up at designated stops on the river. Stops include NJYC, Rudder Club, Hooters at Goodbys
Creek and Prop Club in Mandarin. 3. After arriving at location, report to Designated person and draw one
envelope for each hand purchased. This envelope will be sealed with one card inside. You need to print your name
on each envelope in front of designated person. It is your responsibility to keep all five cards unopened to turn into
scoring committee at the club when you return to NJYC. 4. You can travel to each location by Power Boat, Sail
Boat, Surfboard, Car, Space Ship or any other means of travel. Each boat or car can have as many players as they
can safely hold. 5. You don’t have to be present to win as long as you have someone to pick up cards for
you. 6. Start time is 10 AM. You must be back at NJYC no later than 6 PM. You may spend as much
time at each location as you like, but be sure to be back at NJYC no later than 6 PM. 7. You are not required to
go to each locations, we are aware that some boats may be slower than others. When you return to club you make pick up as
many cards as you need to completed your hand for stops you missed. 8. If seal on envelope is broken that
card will be disqualified and you will not get replacement cards. 9. Each hand will be display for everyone to
see. If any player wishes to try and improve there hand they may purchase additional cards at $5.00 per card, max of two cards
and must replace a card in your hand just like draw poker; you must give a card to get new card. 10.
Prizes are 50% of pot split in three places. First place 50%, Second place 35% and Third Place 15%, the other 50% goes
to NJYC. **Of Special Note** Be aware of water cannons and water balloons battles; they tend to be part of the
fun, so be armed or stay clear of the battles! The best part of the poker run is spending fun time with friends and
family and enjoying a great day on the water. See you all out there on August 13th.
